Danish councils get subsidies to trial health technology

The Danish Digitisation Authority said three municipal pilot schemes for health technology will receive subsidies of between DKK 1.0 million and DKK 1.5 million. The aim is to support members of the public and improve working time efficiency for public sector staff.

An early diagnosis project for the elderly will receive DKK 1.065 million, a pressure sore and work injury prevention scheme for turning bedbound patients will get DKK 1.500 million, and a home alarm system will be granted DKK 1.500 million. The scheme is being led by Aabenraa council, and the other participants are Copenhagem, Ishoj and Viborg.
